How To Start Poem by Gio Masserati

How To Start

Questions here, not the answer
As if I am going to tell you
How to start, the secret remedy

Do I post poems from over a year ago
That have slowly piled up?
Do I move on to the ones in my head
That dangle like thought cloud drops?
...before I forget...
Do I post the more recent in the latest
Notebook or napkin crease?
Can I keep going out of order
Or is it just messing up things?

My perfectionist side is feeling out of sorts
Contemplating a sit-down discussion
To taper my running amok
Among other disorderlys
I'm open for suggestions, seems I'm at a Crossroads
Time is of the essence and life is full of Qoutes
...one big Quote!
Hitting that high note
Ding!
With all our lil' and Big Notes
...and messages

We are adding
Searching
Meaning for the meaningful
In a blind and silent age
Look here!
Look here!
Before you look away
My eyes are up here
Looking in your eyes
Minds
Connecting along the way

Just need that jumpstart
To know
For sure
Just Start...you say?
From anywhere is good
Be spontaneous
Surprise me!
Pick a verse, a poem
Let it roam and soar
Give yourself and it freedom
To dance among the colorful lines
Take on winged white feeling
Strum into flight

I will let go to flowingly flow
A flowering garden of poetic prose
Into the night of guiding lights
You, the reader, please be
Be my hearts inventoried
Majesty
Bringing joy and peace from these
In any way you see fit
For a king or queen
Whichever you are
For in this poems world you Are
Crowned at least one
You may be both, it's really up to you
With your imagination
You will gallantly do what you
Would want others to do to you
Treating mine and yours
With love, respect and dignity

So, then,
How to start?
Let me count the ways......

All I know
Is I love You
That,
Has never changed
