How Sweet The Spring Rain; The First Poem by james watkin

How Sweet The Spring Rain; The First

How sweet the spring rain; the first
Now experienced by
Young leaf, smooth as baby hand.
Young floret, baby eye.

Love's furore no more felt
Than nursemaid's head-tilt
Of warm tears, infused. Young bird's
Gurgled notes apt spilt.

Rain and spring together they make a perfect picture. Sterling imagery to paint a picture that delights and uplifts the senses.
