How Sweet The Spirit Generates

How sweet the Spirit generates
A thoughtful penetration
When we hear a well loved hymn
That reminds us of Salvation
So many times have I been blessed
In its happenings
And so often along in the song
I too begin to sing

Making melody in our hearts
As unto our blest Saviour
Gives us cause for great rejoicing
That we're found in His favour
And the joy of the Lord
As the Bible says
Is the strength of our lives
And shall be all of our days

So thank You Holy Spirit
You are my Comforter
And use the Hymns as soothing power
In my walk down here
And bringing my meditation to
My life when I was lost
Then praise God to my new life in Christ
Hallelujah for the Cross!
