Hey, Neal! So I've just read this poem for the third time at least. And once again I appreciate you sensitively and accessibly sketching the invisible. With you I'll also choose to remain in the light. How quickly, we know, envy can derail us. I'm reminded of a proverb which goes something like this Above all things guard your heart for that's where life starts. Be well! Glen
how strangely quiet this space between words when poems are inhaled, absorbed; the breath dies within unreleased when the doorway to thought and vision the tunnel of a soul's utterance is chained and barred when petty grievances stab the heart of poetry. - - - - - - A poem of absolute beauty.Loved it.Goes to my favorite list.
On reading this I to think of what or who could have been great on here, but the shadow has won this battle, one day they will see the light and stay in its brightness. This reads so wonderfully Seamus, and love the line of hope....Come and find me. (brillant) Annette.

A superb poem, Seamus! I agree with my friend, Robert. You're one of the best poets on PH. This one is going into my favourites' list. No doubt about it. It's hauntingly lyrical.
Thank you, Tom, I am humbly privileged to maintain my little garden here in the midst of very fine horticulturalists as yourself, from whom I have learned much and who thankfully keep my prow pointed to higher planes (if I might mix a few metaphors) .
