Very intense, heartbreaking poem, Amitava. It seems the people who speak wisdom, only speak of it, yet do nothing to apply their wisdom to making life better in India. Innocent people being sacrificed for what? I cannot comprehend the evil of man, why must he hurt others and try to control their lives, with such hatred? It makes no sense to me. It is a cruel world indeed, without love, caring and compassion for one another. And yet, you are such a sensitive man, Amitava. Your poetry says it is so. You are the opposite of these cruel, hardened men of evil. My heart is heavy with the thoughts you have given in your poetical words, yet will I have hope that change will come about soon. RoseAnn
