A moment of quiet, in this frozen house,
Breathe it in, while you can.

oh criminy, now I see why Elys told me to read you. She says hello. This is write that appeals on several layers. skill, emotion, the inclination for a reader to urge the underdog on to victory... well done, poet

Duncan, You poems bring inspiration to me, as I'm sure they do for many others. The subject of a dream that seems real intrigues me. I've had several myself that I do believe are messages.

Duncan, I looked at the size of this poem in dismay and said oh, help. But as I started to read, the message became ever so clear as one line ran into another. I read with the pace of a galloping horse across a meadow free. I couldn't stop for fear of falling before I reached the end. And when I reached the end the message read to me, was that of a magnificent poem of family unity. WOW, this was long as it was beautifully painted all the way. Thanks for pointing me in its direction today. David

Dear Duncan I read the Poem and others comments, there is not much more to say, it was a pleasure to read such a generous view of despicable deeds, compassion can surely set us all free.

Duncan this is a splendid poem with a sad beginning, building up to a beautiful, spiritual end. It shows that God is always watching, and if we listen to the whispers and follow our feelings, we will end up doing the right thing. Your uncle listened to the whispers. Excellent epic once again, I loved reading this story, the same holds true for many families unfortunately and many of them don't end up with a happy ending. Thankyou so much for sharing--Melvina--
