If you have your health and your sense of humour, It is good to be ancient. Look me in the eye on site of the' problem limerick' posted today and tell me I would be better off dead. Besides I have been instructed by my four year old grand-daughter to look after grandma.
Well you'd better not disappoint her then (your granddaughter) . Theat was kind of the moral of the story so to speak in this one Wes. When in youth, old age seems like something one wouldn't care to experience. But as time goes on, we find ourselves begging for every last moment, going to all ends to remain healthy and continue contributing to the world

Mike, I am 66. When I was in my early 20s my best friend (also 66) told me, Let's face it, with the jobs we do, we will both be dead by 45! I am pleased to say he was wrong, about both of us. In my opinion too long is when quality of life is very low. My own mother died at the age of 93 and her last few years were not good. She told me, I never thought it would be like this. My motto is live every day like it is your last, because one day you will be right. CARPE DIEM!
