How does it feel
When you see her everyday?
She is a fast-spinning wheel
To going near her you say nay
How do you feel
When you feel
That she is out of reach
Like is hell's leech?
How do you feel
Admiring but silent
Like ribbon forced off a reel
You can't be persistent?
How do you feel
Other than depressed?
Though not present in a strict deal
Your emotions are suppressed
How does it feel
When you can't declare
Love as strong as keel
That, in you, blare?
How do you feel
When she can't seem to notice?
You are an abandoned meal
Eaten into by worms of rejection With love is your heart heavy
Of course that is the levy
That you have to pay
For dreaming of her night and day
Everytime you see her your heart slips a beat
And you wish you could summon the courage to walk to her seat
To kneel at her feet
To make her be your guest-at a treat
But you cannot but hope:
You are daunted by her saying 'Nope.'
You can only imagine
That you qualify to be on her margin
Scared by rejection
And gingered by the hope of selection
You keep admiring in secret-
And your love remains a secret
Yet you watch her every movement-
As though you are her security camera.
You don't want another guy's involvement
But you cannot declare your feelings-out of camera
She is a shadow
That you cannot grasp
You are so cautious
That of your love she is not conscious!
