It is a fantastic wish by poet to focus and target only optimistic side of the life. Though life is a mixture of both. Congrats for the honour POTD.

This poem has a good structure and rhythm and the contrasts shown between the sights and the reality in the pairs of lines, is a great idea. I feel that the forced rhymes detract somewhat from what could be a really good poem.
