you have beautifully depicted the desolate life of an older woman like winter of Canada minus 21 at present
You have beautifully compared winter season of the year and the winter of a life span using the analogy of old lady.

A bitter reality of life, physical charms end but then start the real charms of man. A philosophic thought nicely penned and beatified by the mastery of the poetess.
Cold wind bites her fragile body She holds her walking stick tightly And stares blankly To the fields, ..now lying empty....... a little bit of sadness shadows your poem today. why dear Bharati....... be positive and smile. nothing is in our hands. give every thing to God Almighty. after all there is only one God and we are all together there in prayers. love and prayers for u and thank u for this fine poem. tony

Hi Bharati, Winter is severe on the poor. I have seen many a homeless on the pavements of Delhi streets, trying to endure its harshness. Many die, unable to, as they can not afford warm clothes. And it makes beautiful poetry, when you liken winter to old age. Loved this poem. A 10.
