i see i left a comment nearly two years ago. i stand by it; i had similar thoughts today as i read it twice, having forgotten i read it previously. bri :)
Although I'm flustered at this word buster it sounds like you know how to spend a Friday, life's a box of chocolate, you get black and red.
This is an interesting poem, one I would come back to again and again trying to dip into the head of the poet. I feel the mind is racing in this one, that one...I like it because it tugs at me.....
Thank you so much! I am happy your thoughts were racing...what I tried to do was compress hours of activity into just a few seconds...
who SAID this is a hot poem? see previous poem comment. well, not for everybody i guess! were you trying on shirts which your partner ordered for you through 'the mail'? you have my condolances! bri :) p.s. i hope you kept the green and brown ones! my favorite colors. that you demand, that you command ............................my favorite line
Too funny! But no, this wasn't me trying on shirts. This was from an actual date some years ago. I was the bystander...and the afternoon went on, and on and on...for about three hours.

M. J., this poem reminds me of Margaret and I at The Bay testing colognes. She was driving me and the sales clerk totally bananas. She and I are no longer an item, but I still use variations of that same cologne. Go figure!
Richard, thank you so much. I hope I awoke great memories. And yes, we were at The Bay the afternoon that inspired this poem. Thanks again.
