Never hurting even a tiny blade of grass

This is really a beautiful poem on life having an insightful observation and nice collocation. A great philosophy is lying behind it. I quote.....But how I long to be a tiny glow worm / That keeps reeling round and round / Throwing flickers of flame around / Though cannot be a self effacing candle Thanks for sharing.

A very sweet and tender poem about what a simple and honest mind yearns. this mind does want to be so selfish in seeking something which benefits a greater cause (like the rainbow as example) . Avery thoughtful and wise penning from dear Valsa again! ! !

Imagination has no bounds. One can be all that one longs to be. Sweet poem.

I agree with Kelly: this poem is BEAUTY IN SIMPLICITY. But behind the lovingly created images is a theme of rich philosophical meaning. Stating this philosophy would be heavy and abstract. A poet true to your vocation, you give us instead images which embody that philosophy, living proof of its validity. Your poem also expresses what I want to explore in the poems under the title MAKING THE WORLD FAMILIAR. The word familiar comes from a word for family, and all of your images have a family resemblance.
