How I hate
to say, 'Goodbye.'
And watch You
drive away.
And stand,
And wait
until You honk,
and raise my hand,
and go inside.
And trudge upstairs
to Nothingness,
and linger
for a moment
on the couch
which still
has but a trace
of warmth,
from You.
And finally sink
into my chair,
and wipe
back tears,
and know
that You
are no more
than five
minutes out-
It might
as well
be years.
And watch
the bright Day
of your presence
slowly fade
to lonely night.
I miss
You so.
Oh, Darling.
How I hate
to say 'Goodbye.'

I would like to translate this poem

saying a goodbye is painful....your poem has words which carry all the weight of the goodbye and it turns out to be beautiful...
