Amazing work, Muhammad. Poverty can come in the form of a stunning realization. A very powerful observation.

There can be no one truly rich in a world that has such large amounts of poverty and illness and lack of hope. May we all give out of our bounty so that no child goes hungry again ever

The only keep lil kids fine is innocence, they never know what means of poor..just live life happily and love everything...until they grown up and threaten by cruelty that breathing around the world.... After all rich and poor only want peaceful life...but what make the difference is who will be on the top, and thats killing the innocence...and cruelty will take place....lovely write dear! write more new poems i read almost all your poems and you may have something new to talk and share thoughts now...let it be free

I must add that poverty is a scar on the face of humanity and as long as there are poor hungry people, every human on earth must feel he has failed himself and his fellow men. Great write.

Beautifully written. Poverty is a harsh reality that makes us think of our good fortune. Written with great empathy.

Seeing a poor person in a pitiable condition makes one feel poor. It is rising to that level that is natural. This may lead to extending help later if one could. Beautiful poem that is example of instant reflection. Thank you.

The observer himself becomes poor. The so called poor girl could afford to stare at him in a shinefull gaze. Such riches she carries. Who is the poor now?

The first thought after reading came as the effect of an evil-eye or i don't know what it is called nazar lagna jo hota he...as i tried to find out the reason for the title in the poem...but then Valsa ji's opinion made me think i might be wrong...but no probz as interpretation of the poems is always open, isn't it?

When you see a starving baby rummaging the garbage, if you can think of your baby and place him/ her in your thoughts, it is compassion and automatically a desire will arise in you to pacify him/ her! A good poem!
