As I follow your writings, I notice a lot of them expressed sadness...but you're very very good at it. Another touching write! :)
You bring in the drama with each stanza. The star behind the cloud, Summers last caress, sandbanks of tears and the closed door are all strong sad images to make this poem the great one it is! 10 Karin Anderson
