House Comments

This is a poignant poem. The speaker has the right intentions, she want to restore health to an ailing bond. Still she is acutely aware of how much would have to be restored and the task is almost - beyond her imagination, much more her efforts. This is a very open-ended poem. I cannot offer her any hope because the bond she wants to restore may be too damaged for repair. But I wouldn't want to encourage her to give up either. The paralysis I feel is nothing compared to what she must be feeling.
