Dyna, I can relate to all you said except the drug use since I have put that behind me since the 1970s having watched drugs destroy the lives of many of my dearest friends. It is entirely possible to alter your consciousness and sense of perception without drugs. Anyway, I liked this poem and the others on which I will soon comment.
