Hostile Place For Patrons Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Hostile Place For Patrons

This is the place this poet has been coming to for
many years now, a new owner has bought and taken it
over, changing the name partially from the Wagon
Yard to Edelweiss Wagon Yard.

Putting German food exclusively on the menu, leav-
ing very little regular food from this country-west-
ern bar and restaurant, they've made this place of
joy into a hostile place for patrons.

Many of us coming here as children in grade school,
"Cold Front", the band is also getting fed up with
their ridiculous ideas in this beautiful western
town of Phoenix, Arizona.

All of us patrons, family, have gathered together,
if they keep it up, we will all come in sit down,
fill up the place, order something then walk out,
never stepping foot here again, unless the old owner
returns, he was decent and hope he comes back.
