Let me out let me out
I want to have a run
I've been stuck in here all day long
It's cold and not much fun

Why do you keep me locked in here
All alone with just a carrot
I want to be treated like your other pets
Max the cat and Joey the parrot

Am I not cuddly enough for you
Despite my glossy fur
Max can't hop around like me
All he can do is purr

With my floppy ears and giant front teeth
And my funny wiggly nose
I can offer you laughter all day long
All Joey can do is pose

So please let me out of this horrible hutch
And into your lovely warm home
I would love to be friends with Max and Joey
I'm sick of being on my own

I promise I'll be clean and behave myself
And never moan or complain
Just get me out of this horrible hutch
Before I go insane
