Hoping Poem by Paul WilsonSuffield

Hoping

Rating: 2.5

I see you sitting not ten foot away
The way I feel I dare not say.
Each blink of your eye each smile on your face
My head it swoons my heart starts to race.
Some find it easy to say how they feel
But the thought of rejection my lips remain sealed.
We’ve both had a love that’s ended in pain
But each love ends so it may start again.
The feelings I have through my body run deep
My heart is a gift that forever you may keep
I am not handsome very rich or tall
But for you my love I would give you my all.
Lets leave it like this with these words unsaid
With you and I just a dream in my head.
One day in time you may decide
That feelings for me you can no longer hide.
Don’t rush in just give me a sign
So that I may know your heart is mine.
