There's a play by Eugene O'Neill called A LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT. I love that title but the play is tragic and unrelenting; when night finally arrives, the characters are emotionally drained and find no rest in sleep. Your poem is just the opposite. It has the circular structure of a day beginning with promises, an afternoon of purposeful action and fulfillment at night. The hope which shines in the morning blesses people throughout their day. Your poem puts your readers in that same mood of hope, effort, fufillment.
