H.O.P.E Hold On, Pain Ends. Poem by Ogolla Enock

H.O.P.E Hold On, Pain Ends.

The heart faints when the storms of life rage,
Joy sublimes like snow when the window
of sense is closed between God and men.
But misery has a silver lining after the pain
and the toil then comes the sweet release

The sun will rise. But when time is good again,
Do not forget the steps that led you down
the lessons you learned, the hands that lifted you,
and the people who stayed to see you through
when everyone else kept their distance.

Breakthrough is just one opportunity away
And it comes just at the verge of despair.
Hold on! Nothing stays hot forever.
Walk more by faith and less by sight.
In due time, time will be good again
