A well written poem about hope and it's forms. I love the advice for writers. Practice, patience and perseverance are three important ingredients to increasing success.

Remaining in hope is important part in life. Hope definitely sustains for us now and for future too. Patience and Endurance are the real friends of Hope. You have nicely observed and expression of this interesting poem improves opportunity to keep hope ahead. Hope remains behind every success. Very well crafted poem is shared here....10

Thanks for your observations. This was very much a poem drawn from personal experience-the difficulties that I have had to face in my life. Problems that are still going on. Hope is both a religious virtue, and a secular virtue(of this world, practical) . You could easily have hope without being religious at at all, I think.

I wonder if 'charity' covers all forms of love, Michael?

It is meant to, but not romantic love, more like disinterested love for other people in general. The Jerusalem Bible uses the word 'love' instead of 'charity', but that is not completely right either, as there are forms of love that are not religious. When a word has many shades of meaning, you just have to accept the shortcomings of whatever word you choose, as I see it.
