Ahhh such a lovely way to start my day David! My lips aren't blue, my pulse is strong I've been beside you all along. I think you fell and hit your head, That feather from your pillow shed. I'd like to save you from this dream And drift along a safer stream. A simple craft that's meant for two, An enchanting night in our canoe. Oh such moments we would share As stars soft whisper a lovers prayer. The night air warm, and waters still, That crescent moon would glow and fill.. Reflecting there upon deep blue shine, Embracing touch from on cloud nine. A poem born as tender lips to meet, A goodnight wish for dreams so sweet. xo Elaine
