Three kinds of adults,
queen, worker, drone.
Eusocial animals,
exhibit peak of activity,
unmeasurable co- operation.
Matting and egg laying
are taken care of
by single queen and few
hundreds drones.
Many thousands worker bees
are sterile females to
discharge multiple functions.
Food preparation,
feeding the queen,
nursing the off -springs,
(which are from the queen,
not their own)
nectar and pollen collection,
defence of hive,
dispersal of pollens
from plant to plant,
are functions of worker bees.
Fertilisation of flowering plants,
maintenance of biodiversity,
Food production for
other animals are
some of their charities.
Compassion, compromise,
co-operation are illustrated
in bees social life.
The sterile female workers
are honoured highly for
their sacrifice
to keep all alive.
Have we ever thought
about the pain, agony
and plight of a sterile
female in our society?
They have no police,
no laws, no constitution,
no moral training,
no religion,
no casteist feeling,
no education.
Having every thing,
we lag behind these small insects,
always plunged in all opposites,
ever prepared to eliminate
the living,
most self centred individuals,
without regulation
and dedication
in the creation.
