Honey Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Honey

In the presence of liquid honey,
I was devoured, mesmerized by it's thrill.
The very fact of plagiarism loomed amongst fruit saturated in pulp, but this.
This was unique.
Insisting that I in fact, taste again.
My tongue was immobilized due to a sweet, sticky sensation.
Dare I speak, interrupting such pleasure,
The eruption of saliva presumes such assumption.
The longing of such ecstacy proves blissful.
Translated through the mere conception that I was in fact addicted to you
