Honesty Poem by Michael Eziudo

Honesty

Costly virtue from down the heart
Expensive yet possessed by the poor in spirit
I am one
A gift I gifted myself a true son of man
No matter what you show me
I'll still choose to see
Honesty

Even when people of dark heart
Think they'd rule the earth in their might
Go deeper in their dark shades
Blinding every one with their works of hades
In the end my good work in uprightness
Is that which wins the race
Honesty
