Honest Poem Poem by Anonymous Still

Honest Poem

What are my talents (if)you may ask
Running and escaping I will say
Every day is a story of escape
Escape into another day
I am good at running
I run from you, me and the world
I run from the day as well
If emotional escape had any physical essence
I might have run thousands of miles now

What are my weakness (if)you may ask
Imagination and jumping I will say
Thousands of worse situations I might have imagined
Maybe I am in love with "dark creativity" if that's a word
Trust me there's no such word
Jumping..i jump into conclusions
For situations that are non existent
I might give competition to some animals though

What is the most hard-working thing I have done (if)you may ask
Surviving I will say
No there's no tragedy I have survived through
Can we call ourselves tragedy though?

What is the one thing I wait for (if)you may ask
Efforts I will say
It takes efforts to ask someone how are they
So if you have ever asked me (genuinely)I adore you  What is the best and worst thing I have done (if)you may ask
Writing I will say
See in the world of mysterious and closed personalities
Keeping the heart on sleeve is the sign of weakness they say
Yeah I might be the weakest person you see everyday
But
To write amidst the mocking voices takes courage
Writing induces a storm of thoughts in anyone who reads
Judgements and perceptions
Thousands of them
It creates a virtual image of anyone who writes
Mine can be worse
Yet
Who saves me, carries Me, holds Me, hugs me if you may ask
Writing I will say again and again
