Homo Romanticus Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Homo Romanticus

Rating: 4.8

We're an endangerous species
You and I
We're waiting for hate to hunt us
And slowly kills us with propaganda
That we don't believe
How long will this be?
Between us
Don't say there's nothing wrong
I see you looking at other people
As the war is altering our lives
I have become envious
So, kill me with yr love
Or hold it for someone else
I can't wait any longer for an answer

'So, kill me with yr love' - love this line. The title is quite interesting.
