Hometime Blues Poem by Saul Palti

Hometime Blues

If you want to know a little something
let me rise and sing and let your ears ring

I look into the sun as I sit on my bum
you better tie your shoe laces and run

a black shadow follows me
straight to the Baltic sea

a lonesome woman bleeds
when no man plants his seeds

I got the tongue cancer
and I soon will be with her

please taste my wine
so everything turns out fine

if you got a dream
its already been seen
