hey, after reading this poem, i will surely stop scolding my kids for the chaos they create....you saw beauty in the chaos...no maybe your love did....it requires a great poet and a wonderful father to pen these lines....its a really wonderful piece of poetic cuteness.

Nice poem! there's nothing like having kids in the house. I have 2 but they're both adults now, and i miss the sound of kids' laughter in the house. More Power!

You have described the perfect home in which a child can just be his/her self. Let them be who they are without restrictions. The dollhouse and princess brings forth such wonderful images. The voice of a true writer and loving father! '10! ' Warm Wishes, Marilyn

This poem speaks volumes of today's excesses and simply serves to remind me that there are many ways to show love to our children, and this material indulgence is a luxury society will surely have to pay for - hugely! A provocative poem that should have each indulgent parent thinking! S :)

I like the imagery and feeling of this poem. The 'armchairs'...'waiting for their morning tea' is unexpected and fun. I was wondering what this would be like if it was filmed i.e., you took a video and had a V.O. (voice over) by you, and posted it on YouTube, I imagine it would become quite popular.

sweet nothings formless; yet form foundations. Wow.... I think if i wrote this poem that i would never write another, what would be the point? it's like you've written the perfect poem already. Ok maybe i'm exagerrating a little bit, but this poem was definately my favorite one of yours that I have read so far, and I think all of your poems are great! Amazing imagery, it brought back memories of my old house when I was a small child, thanks for writing this, its amazing.

You describe such a wholesome, warm atmosphere. A charming tribute to your house and that little girl who lights up your life. Ten, for you. Kind regards, Sandra

Been to your home, met the princess She just alighted on her wings, Now I know who the Muse is, and who stands at the helm of things, Foundations holding down our ghosts, That we can never stay without, Our worldly possessionsbereft, Then will the Spring walk in? Now I see the Princess pout! ,

this is a home that has a lived in look, feel, touch. I can see a very fond, doting, indulgent father of a lovely daughter, a house full of laughter and much more... wonderful poem Nikunj.10 Mamta

You have described a home of love, as love over looks the chocolate stains, the scattered toys and sees the hopes the joys of your daughters smiling eyes. Kahlil Gibran wrote ' Your Children are not your children', later he wrote 'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' ' Let your bending of the human bow be gladness.' I say let them fly straight and true on a journey of spreading love to our World. A lovely poem of love, enjoy your children. My house now has love and muddy paws, but is a happy one. Bob
