Home lies that way, somewhere, through the fog,
Down a road I did not ask to be set upon
And most of whose forks were chosen for me

Great use of Robert Frost' concept of the Road Less Taken. Enjoyable twist to that theme. Read mine - Brush Strokes - Adeline

Come, walk with me a while since our roads Are joined as far as the fog will let us see: A mile, a season, a lifetime, till our Roads diverge, or one of us gets Home, Finally through the mist, to the long, long rest. home sweet home..... symbolically coming to oneself and finding oneself...... so i read and understood..... it is very meaningful. symbol of the way of life... thank you very much for this thought provoking poem. tony

The journey through life can be very trying, with all the trials and tribulations that test us. A very meaningful write. Enjoyed reading this poem.

Road...is a usual symbol in the hands of symbolists and transcendentalists...symbolising the course of life! ! ! the consistency of symbols throughout the poem has made the work really beautiful and pleasing to read... my favorite lines: Come, walk with me a while since our roads Are joined as far as the fog will let us see: A mile, a season, a lifetime, till our Roads diverge, or one of us gets Home, Finally through the mist, to the long, long rest.

Let us live together till death; a good message to the companion in good verse.

I gave it a ten, only because there wasn't an eleven. A bit sad and hopeful at the same time, and isn't that what it's all about? (I loved it)

A lovely poem RG, we are all on a long road, often very foggy too, but hopefully to come out of the fog and arrive at our final destination. Excellent write.
