But... I was frightened within, scared enough lest I should ever by mistake place there the imprint of my dirty hand. Thanks for the beautiful sketch of woman mind, thanks for the great poetess too. 10

lest I should ever by mistake place there the imprint of my dirty hand. A nostalgic reminiscence about the lovely home that was a nest of love, understanding, inspiration and so much care, which one day a girl is supposed to leave for ever, for a new home, for a new settlement, for beginning her conjugal life. 10+++

Hi Subhas Sahab, Thank you for translating the marvelous poem by Bharati Ma'm. Separation from the house in which one was born and grew up is almost a loss of one's existence. But, why only women? That is the Indian Paradox. That is why a Khar Jamaai looked down upon! !

Dear Apa, please excuse me for my failure to knit your poem in the alien language in the way you had in our mother tongue. After translating I feel uncomfortable to see that it reflected so less of the original fragrance it emanated in Odia, and I understand how easy is to write a lovely poem than to translate one lovely poem into another language. I loved the poem and appreciated it so much so that I could not resist myself.10+++ for your poem in Odia. Regards.Subhas
