Holy Oath

M-ake a pledge or holy oath,
A-s you raise your right hand;
R-eaching the finish line
I-s one thing you must understand.
V-ow or holy oath you say
I-s all about your faith;
C-omplete the race or journey to enter into the heaven's gate.
B-egin to utter your solemn swear,
U-sing your mouth and throat;
E-arly seventh of January,
N-ever break you holy
O-ath.
