What I have discovered, Alex, is that we do not have to wait until the end of the world to enjoy the beauty of the things we did with all our heart and soul and we do not have to wait to taste the bitterness of our arrogant and selfish actions. It comes quite immediately. I think nobody has said it better than RW Emerson in his essay, titled compensation. Good and thought provoking poem
