Holding On Poem by Oscar Munir

Holding On

We've been to the top of the mountain and in the valley,
We have swam oceans and crossed seas,
You and I have been behind the enemy lines several times,
Through thick and thin, the summer and the winter,
A thousand fights and disagreements with each other have they been already?
Arguing and fighting because of this and that,
A lot has happened to us my dear but we never break my dear, I never break,
For even on this special day dear one,
I'm still hoping that you will eventually run back to my arms.
