Ah, the weather eye of a weathered one who has survived many seasons and surely tuned in to the wisdom of the ancestors, too. Love the rhymes and how the poem very directly makes the point of how the human sensitivity and sense are superior to the fancy satellite technology. Case in point - the weather people predicted a day of rain and cold here today and it was sunny and warm instead. Now that El Nino is doing his thing, I'm guessing about the weather by sticking my head out the window in the morning and taking it from there. Thanks for this thoughtful read and for chronicling a wise person's ways from whom much can be learned.
