Those passing moments will always be etched in the mind. Pious soul performed his duty. Now the living must live up to his expectation.

How alike, both of us are in our sharing of the last moments of the one whom we held so dear in life! I can very well gauge the depth of feeling, you had for your father! Our parents were beacons of light and their absence only enhances the light they once shed in our lives! A moving write Shahzia! !

beautiful write....stunningly so...emotive and fervent. parental love is a measured cup....an aliquote, if i may say so. there is so much strength in this tender and helpless write. kudos!

Wonderful composition. A very tender and emotional tribute, befitting to the one who, by the grace of God, is partially responsible for you being here. He who was your guardian in this life. Nurturer, protector, provider – all that is found in the essence of a good father. And you were blessed to have had him. (I am deeply sorry for your loss.)

You took me back to Sunday Mass at Holy Family Church in N.Y....This work had an epistlesque flavour to it...with a message the same...I like the vernacular you choose as well as your choice of some astute Christian lexia. Love your use of the termunlearning...never used it....Oxford says it's a bonafide word...and you placed it very effectively...You impress me, young lady! ~FjR~
