We believe in God,
whose heart beats
for all people of all races.

He makes his sun
rise on good and bad.

He is especially
on the side of
the poor and outcast.

He proved that
in Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus
who was born in poverty.

He raised justice from
the crushing hand
of the mighty.

He bore our failures
and our death.

He ended the
curse of violence.

He showed ways
to reconciliation.

We believe in
God's good spirit.

He wants to
break our chains.

He opens our eyes
and sets us free to love.
