He was inside a big zero-
A circle- he opted to dig deep
Listening to a few prompts-
Ladders and ropes- that moved away from their own
Leaving him behind
No side steps carved out
He was left out inside
Devoid of water
A sickle in his hand
He carried in-
His belief
He started to scrap the soil
All around from inside
Slowly the depth was getting filled up
And to his surprise
The soil itself started slipping
Of its own accord
Filling the void…
As the slippage continued
The circle got transformed
To a plain, at par with the stratum
He started with
Growing further it stood tall-
A hill whereunder he lay buried…

the brain iis the most complex organ how it will behave in what way none can fathom I have saved a few from suicide some I couldn't over ride some rich men married miserable wives they died Mind needs motivation and energy to fight cowards take the path of least resistance in holes of their own creation they bury and die Help them you can only just try
He started to scrap the soil all around from inside and the depth was slowly seen. Wonderful theme this poem carries. This is an excellent poem very brilliantly penned.10
good imagery and thanks for this Yes. The best practical outlook. The aim of life is to find happiness. Grieving is not an option at all. Good poem message rich 10+
Ha, Ha, Ha…. My comment reproduced. Very good. My poem, this, is in dedication. My deceased class mate had a good life. He did not run after party positions pleasing the party leadership. A man of principle he was. That is what I said here. This is not a grieving poem. Thank you Poet Poet!
Memories! ! Filling the void. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A unique write and a unique story. Beautifully crafted and executed.
A poem of great depth. Poignant, gripping and powerful write. When our mind, heart, eyes and even our own soul are focused and centered on our belief, closing your doors to others, there will come a time that our own belief will take us to the arms of nothingness.
