I like this elegy very much, have done for years. It is sad, appeals to the emotions. Striking repetition of 'I am', and perfect rhymed couplets.

I am very impressed by this elegy, which has authentic emotion. 'Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die'. This would make a good epitaph on a headstone.
The emotional touch of the poem has prompted me to do this translation.
