High Finance Poem by Antony Glaser

High Finance

Rating: 4.0

And the poor draw blank
food banks quelle surprise
the dip has not blighted
the wealthy and their reality

Their paeans of grief
sounds lame
when a rich man is surprised
that the people are unfree

Economic blight
is not high finance
The wallflowers caked in clay pay the price
when the stakes are raised
