Hidden In A Vault Poem by Timber Koleden

Hidden In A Vault

Rating: 5.0

Inside my head is a world all my own
My thoughts are in the safest vault; never known.
I may speak and say all I please but none
Will ever conceive of my true intent, not one.

No person can search out those mines
My mind a deep cavern for my ideas; hidden designs.
I may show you a little of their gold
But I have more and different treasures; they are old.

You are suspicious how I grew wealthy galore?
From where does this treasure come to fill my stores?
The beauty of those mines comes gleaming in
From all the beauty that surrounds me; I let lovely things in.

Beauty of nature, love and of course God, is our Greatest wealth! .. All held in our heart and mind, to share and let others find... : )

A brilliant write! Liked the analogy so apt for the treasures that are found in the deepest recesses of the mind. Beautifully presented and cleverly expressed. To my favorites.
