I absolutely respect the fact that you not only acknowledge the famous heroes but also the fameless. It actually made me realise a lot of things. thank you for that =]
an unknown heroes.. what so mysterious is he.. a great piece..
i'm sure you know those heroes very well, and your gratefulness is sublime; all of us have some hero... but some times we just don't know how to show such tribute....10
invisible are the hands of millions of nameless, faceless who toil to make things work for us. very succinct and powerful tribute. how many realoise this... this is what i was getting at in my Haiku A fool's paradise'. you have humility and sense of gratitude and awareness of nothingness of man. 10 Mamta
Sathyaji, your poem makes me to remember those lines - many a beautiful flower blooms by the wayside unseen, to waste its fragrance in the desert air! But the sacrifices made by those dedicated people must have earned them a place within His divine fold! - Raj Nandy

heroes unsung............nice theme...well thought out...well penned..if only everyone had a grateful heart like u do......
Nothing that is good true or beautiful is ever really lost. Unknown heroes affect eternity even thogh history does not record their names. Your place in the future scheme of things has not yet been decided. Take heart and, by all means, keep on writing. Always your friend at poemhunter, Sandra
I agree with everything that Ravi A said. He said it better than I ever could. So, I shall not repeat it. I shall only add that the value of every man is measured in the sum total of all mankind. You either add or subtract from that total. GW62
I went through your short biography. I really admire you for the views that a true poet should maintain. I too am of the same principle. We should always give only positivsm to the society. In that sense, you a doing a great job with your pen. This poem is a nice work. All heroes will go unsung one day. Individual names will be forgotten but civilizations will continue to receive the benefits of individual effort. That is important. Every man has a purpose here on earth and his views and works are absorbed by the world. Thus, a singer continues to enthrall the world with his songs, a poet with his poems and so on. Efforts will not go into a waste. You may go through my works and comment.
A noble write reminding us about all the unsung heroes who have left a footprint and yet remain unknown...
