The prize jewels of any nation
Are the heroes of the heart.
How they think is universal
For its love that sets them apart.

Most heroes tell the truth of life
Though they may wrap it in beauty.
It's their passion, not their purpose
To shield is but their duty.

Heroes have no reason to lie
When the truth is always clear.
All that others say and do
Is but food for the hero's ear.

God sent His heroes down to Earth
With deeds of wisdom and of worth.
That they might touch the hearts of all
And prove the blessing of His call.
