i disagree with you using heroes to describe those who are buried.. SOME of them probably DID die from performing what i would consider heroic acts, but i bet many if not most did not. i'll try a more complete answer tomorrow perhaps.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
Remembering the heroes that deserve our thanks is very honorable. Well stated poem. Our son was in the marines, was killed here in the states, by a semi driver who fell asleep at the wheel. He's our hero in every respect, he had volunteered to serve, wanting to protect us here in the U.S.A. Love this poem, great tribute! Thank you very much for sharing.
