Here They Come Again Poem by Ray Hansell

Here They Come Again

Different politicial parties to choose from
Democrats and Republicans
Green Pary and others
Independent and Libertarians

Each will make their own promises
Tell fairy tales galore
They tell you want you want to hear
Please, don't come to mt door

It seems that lie after lie
Is all we seem to get
They want us to believe them
Sorry, I can't do that yet

They all must first learn
How to tell the truth
I always make my decision
Before I go into the polling booth

But for some unknown reason
They keep getting re-lected
I guess when it comes to incompetence
Some people aren't too selective
