Obviously she is torn between her love of her familiar environs and her thirst to embrace new experiences and a change of life.So is she torn between love and hate. Though sinking in depression, she is not ready to give in.The indomitable spirit in her will help her pull through all mires of life. There is something unusually intimate about your writings Hazel, that I see in your heroines, a reflection of yourself!
