Here I Am And I’ll Be Here Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Here I Am And I’ll Be Here

When you think you need to cry, here is my shoulder
Let tears flow until satisfied and dry it there.
I will forever be a companion and friend.
I will never leave you until the very end.
Here I am and I’ll be here.

When your words are left without listening ears
And you can no more express your sorrows and fears,
My ears are not deaf that is why they are open.
You can tell me everything and I will listen.
Here I am and I’ll be here.

This world may hate you and may even turn its back
But a good person like you I don’t want to lack.
That’s why I can spare some moments to be with you
Just for you to know you’re a person of value.
Here I am and I’ll be here.
