In the abyss of life, you are my bliss,
When all around me falls, I heed your call,
I'm the snatched rib that your soft heart does miss,
I'm the first whisper of love you still recall.
I hear your longing in those lonely nights,
I confided our love to the moon, my friend,
'The universe heeds prayers, so keep hope bright, '
Said she as her voice through the sky extends.
Yet I know, your heart beats for me alone,
Your traces on my skin still softly glow,
I hear your footsteps coming back home,
It's time to open our hearts—let love flow.
When the moon asks me again about our love,
I'll assure her it shall still breathe—here and above.
